This is a classic British snack inspired recipe - a mix between Welsh rarebit and cheese on toast - which is an open faced toast with a medley of melted cheese and dash of Worcestershire sauce. i add an egg into the cheese mix to help with setting of it, to add a bit of protein and to get that quiche-y type of topping! to this mix i also add a touch of mustard (English mustard is preferred!) for that little kick.

This is the best recipe I've ever discovered. As kids, my brother and I gorged on flaky-but-sturdy cheese straws on the streets of London. Perfectly seasoned, crispy cheese on top and toasted sesame seeds, peppery rosemary - oh my - so so divine! I adapted a recipe I found whilst scrolling Instagram and found this too good to be true. So a Saturday morning when I had three little children under my wings, I set about this recipe - and my God, it worked! It's a dleight to eat, and great to make with the kids!
