Party planning gets my family in a frenzy every time. We take dinners very seriously, even if it’s just us, and we are staunch believers in good food, home food and extravagance and abundance. If you know us personally, you’ll know that we are not exactly known for moderation or dialling it down – and I see nothing wrong in that, after all life must be celebrated as a very good party at all times!

But the one place I differ with the rest of them – I need it nice and easy in the kitchen on the day of the event, even if I’m armed with help in the kitchen. I believe in very good food without the extravaganza of labour work.

THIS recipe fits the bill in every way – looks super fancy, can be made ahead of time, and the assembly is done within minutes and tastes delicious!

The baby potatoes are par boiled, cut in half and scooped to create mini cups and grilled. The filling is a combination of spice and tang along with a medley of texture. They are then topped with a lemon yoghurt sauce and a sprinkling of black and white sesame seeds.
